4.5 keep you on your toes stars!! I enjoyed this book so much, once I started there was no stopping.

We carry our scars over our hearts to remind us of what we have survived. They are not there to trouble us but to show us that we have courage and strength to fight.”

If you have kept up with the series you know the “Sexy 4” (my little nickname). Luke, Ben, Stephen and Kyle. They all have small parts in this book but the main characters are Sean and Hadley. Sean, as you should know, is Sophie’s brother and that last book tore my heart in two for Sean so I was really hoping for some redemption for the boy. Hadley is a new character in the book. She is the enemy’s daughter. She was sent to kill my boy. So that right there makes me hate her. But eventually this stubborn, independent, beautiful, killer of a girl grows on me. So this is their love story….

This book has some triggers so beware, if you can’t handle dark do not read. This book felt different for me and in a good way. I think the series needed this turn. I also enjoyed knowing a different side to Sherlyn’s dad, Silo. My heart still aches for Stephen and I hope he gets redemption one day and I am still ever so curious about Hawke. So this series always leaves me wanting more!! This book gave you a bunch of broken down people who became stronger and overcame their past. I love it. I also love that Gerrick ended the way he did. Nereza threw me for a loop for minute and I wasn’t sure I liked where it was going until the explanation then I understood and actually enjoyed it. Though sometimes I felt the book would repeat things I just read the majority of the book flowed with the continuation of the series. I hope there are more to come…

**I received this book as an ARC and in return I gave my honest review**
